The Pagani Huayra BC is one of Paganis strongest cars. This car was highly exclusive and only came in 20 units for the entire world. This car is powered by a very strong V12 engine that produces 745hp, a 0-60 time of 2.2 seconds, and a top speed of 236mph. The original price was around $3M. This car is the track performance version of the regular Pagani Huayra.
The Pagani Huayra BC is the last of the Huayra edition. As this was Paganis most symbolic car, so was the name. Horacio Pagani, owner and founder of Pagani, named this car after his best friend and the first person to ever buy a Pagani. The BC part of the name stands for Benny Caiola, which are the initials of the first Pagani owner.
The Pagani Huayra BC is much lighter than the original Huayra. For example, the new titanium exhaust is about 7.1Kg lighter than the regular Huayra. Also, the design of this impressive car specializes in using ultra light carbon fiber for the entire body of the car, saving dozens of pounds of unnecessary weight.
The BC includes a newly found rear and front diffuser, as well as a new large rear wing. This was all included in the aerodynamic package for greater acceleration efficiency. Almost every body panel of this car was shaped and edged in a certain way that would allow it to cut through the air as efficiently as possible. As this is the track focused car, all body weight and efficiency is hugely important, in order to get the fastest lap time possible.
Also in the efforts of creating a more efficient car, Pagani developed an entirely new gearbox. This gearbox develops faster shifts. These shifts are so powerful, that they could easily get you to over 100mph in a matter of seconds. The amount of pulling that this gearbox does is surreal and the results are truly impressive.
The Pagani Huayra BC is not the most powerful hyper car around, but it includes the most amount of attention to detail that truly sets it apart from other hyper car manufacturers.
